This ongoing series depicts the dynamism and beauty of the indigenous fynbos plants of South Africa. These include flowers such as the protea and pincushion. Using oil paints and oil bars, careful brushwork and bold sweeps of the palette knife, Shaune tracks the light of a single bloom and unpacks an endless supply of inspiration and colour-ways.
