Collection: Lingering in Happiness

The subject matter of this work comes from Shaune's recent meditations in all things rock related, from coastal rockeries, mountain landscapes, even a handful of semi-precious stones and how each inanimate item vibrates as part of the company it keeps.

Her process is one of considerable layering. Details being revealed and then replaced by calm, strong colour by muted tones, lines and marks by softer glazes. It’s a continuous push and pull, and a lingering of happiness.
