This ongoing series arose from the simple enjoyment and skin-tingling pleasure of lying on a sun-baked rock as the coolness of night unfolded, of the great anticipation of tentatively stepping over sharp-edged rocks in the hope of discovering tidal treasures and even when the satisfaction of successfully weeding a garden rockery created from forgotten unearthed river stones. These moments are the magic that connects.
